Connect Vercel

Bring available Vercel projects and deployments into your conversations.

On this page

before you start#

You need a Vercel account with access to the projects you want Puffle to inspect. The available projects and actions depend on the account, team access, and tools exposed by the connection.

This guide covers connecting Vercel from Puffle’s Plugins screen. It does not describe installing Puffle as a native Vercel marketplace product.

connect your account#

  1. Open Plugins, find Vercel, and open its details.
  2. Select Connect and choose the account scope if offered.
  3. Complete the provider setup shown by Puffle and review the authorization request.
  4. Return to Plugins and select Refresh if the account has not appeared.
  5. Confirm the account identity and review Tool permissions.

If sign-in or app setup is unavailable, use Connection troubleshooting. A catalog entry alone does not confirm that authorization has completed.

verify access#

Start with a read-only request:

Try asking Puffle

List the Vercel projects available through my connected account. Do not change any project settings.

Check that the expected project appears. Then try a question about a deployment:

Try asking Puffle

Find the latest deployment for my website project and summarize its status. Ask me which project if the name is ambiguous.

manage access#

Use the provider’s account and team settings to manage project access. Use Puffle’s tool permissions to control available actions. Follow the connection’s removal control to disconnect it from Puffle; review provider-side revocation separately.

For a missing project, verify the connected account and team first. Do not reconnect with broader access until you understand what is missing.
